Thank you for trying out Isaac, Version 0.24b! In this package you will find four files.
The file “Isaac” is a HyperCard Stack that contains the entire Isaac System. This includes three resources. The first is of type ‘Isac’ and is titled “Isaac Driver”. The second is of type ‘XCMD’, titled “Cast” and the third of type ‘XFCN’, titled “Conjure”. All three of these resources are required for proper use of Isaac. There are also a number of “support” resources used to demonstrate Isaacs many capabilities. To try out this Stack simply double click on the file “Isaac”.
The file “Isaac Resources” contains the same “support” resources as the Stack. This allows a source for you to try out some of Isaacs commands.
The file “Isaac Test Document” is simply a text file for practicing some of Isaacs commands with.
Also included is a Magic Wand type file, titled “SaveAsResource” containing my new version of the "****Save as Resource…" command. You will need to copy this into your Magic Wand file using the application "Magic Wand Utility" (included with Clipboard Magician.) this file corrects a bug that made the previous version incompatible with System 7. I've also added a couple of improvements!
Using “****Save as Resource…” from Clipboard Magician allows you to specify any non-invisible file to store the resources into. Note: an error will be reported if the chosen does not have a resource fork. Pressing the “Option” key allow you to create a New file to store the resource in. This command will assign the smallest ID above 127 available for the newly created resource without overwriting any other resources. This command has the additional capability of working with the entire Clipboard through Isaac. Please read the Card pertaining to this command for furthur details.
